Best Eats on the Ina Road to Saguaro West

Route #2: Ina Road and Interstate 10 (Exit 248)

Ina Road (pronounced eye-nah) is a major roadway in Southern Marana. You’ll find shopping and restaurants in the area, including unique spots with fresh ingredients and bold flavors. Some of the restaurants in this area have been here for decades! This route is about 30 minutes and begins in a suburban area but soon gives way to desert vistas.

In addition to places to eat, we recommend checking out the Picture Rocks Petroglyphs. This easy walk to stunning rock art is on the property of a retreat center, so be sure to check in at the office before proceeding to the walk down into the wash, where the petroglyphs can be found. This is also a great route if you’re short on time, as it takes you right to the Cam-Boh Trailhead in Saguaro National Park West.

Linh Nam is a family-owned neighborhood gem serving a mix of Chinese and Vietnamese classics. The menu features beloved dishes like Mongolian, Kung Pao, Szechuan, and Singapore-Style preparations, all customizable with your choice of meat, as well as stir-fries, chow mein, and their signature Egg Foo Young.

Frankie’s South Philly Cheesesteaks & Hoagies

Location: 3780 West Ina Rd., 184

Chef Frankie Santos died in 2019, but this love letter (in restaurant form) to his hometown lives on. Hoagies and cheesesteak sandwiches are made with Amoroso rolls flown in from Philadelphia. The hoagie in a bowl and cheesesteak salads are just as good - even without the famous rolls.

Humo Cocina Mexicana

Location: 6671 N. Thornydale Rd.

Humo Cocina Mexicana has many authentic Mexican dishes, such as quesabirria tacos with consomme, bacon-wrapped tortillas, elotes, burritos served "Christmas-style" (with red and green salsa on top), and their famous and unique Mole wings. They're open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Lucky Wishbone

Tucson’s first fast-food restaurant began serving fried chicken, steak, chicken fingers, gizzards, livers, and shrimp, along with French fries, onion rings, and garlic toast, in 1953. Need some green-ish vegetables? Add a side of coleslaw.

El Molinito

Location: 3675 West Ina Road

Gilbert Molina and his sister Maria opened the Casa Molina restaurant in 1947. Their children went on to open four El Molinito restaurants. This location has room for seating large parties.
