Here visitors may enjoy the region's finest dining or its cutest cafes, comforting American fare or Far Eastern delicacies, spicy Sonoran specialties or Old World Italian creations and everything in between. Prepare your taste-buds and travelling companions to be delighted by the plethora of textures, flavors, and ingenious flare they will encounter at Marana eateries.

Finery to Food Truck - Dining at the Ritz

The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain resort and spa is well known for surpassing expectations luxuriously. Fine dining, gourmet burgers, quick bites and even a resort food-truck will satisfy every guest's craving at this Five Star resort.

Perhaps the most lauded of its dining Venues, Core Kitchen and Wine Bar is the resort's signature dining experience. A unique selection of "True American Cuisine" artfully prepared to deliver a whispered reminder of the Sonoran Desert's influence has dazzled and satisfied resort and public guests since its opening. With some of the country's finest talent in the kitchen, a thriving orchard just outside, and a multitude of locally sourced ingredients, Core provides unparalleled dining experiences for breakfast and dinner. The crisp modern decor reflecting the colors of the Earth, otherworldly views, and impeccable service in the dining room create a more formal feel. However, any given morning or evening, diners are invited to dress casually or formally to enjoy a relaxing experience over any of the perfectly prepared and stunningly presented creations. Guests may start the day by walking the Continental and American breakfast buffets or ordering regional specialties like Chilaquiles or breakfast burritos. Of course, more traditional favorites prepared with a Ritz twist like Eggs Benedict, pancakes, waffles, and omelets are also made to order. Core's dinner menu changes seasonally, while the wine-list consistently offers a mind-boggling 2,800 bottle selection. From the brown ale braised Kilt Lifter Short Ribs to the succulent Alaskan Sablefish, every dish is designed to astonish the palate. While the urge to enjoy every last bite will be difficult to resist, try to save room for coffee and doughnuts beignets, CORE Sticky Toffee Pudding, or any of the other decadent desserts.

Perhaps visitors are busy enjoying the resort's amazing guest rooms, amenities, or other Marana adventures and miss breakfast service. Perfect! Cayton's Burger Bistro at the Golf Club at Dove Mountain and Turquesa Latin Grill at the Resort's main pool area are on deck for lunch. Cayton's will refuel golfers, spectators, and view soakers with a mouth-watering array of gourmet burgers, shakes, and uniquely styled entrees . The setting is casually refined and the golf course and mountain views are beyond amazing. For those too occupied with poolside lounging, water sliding, or sun worshiping at the resort pools, Turquesa will provide poolside noshes with Latin flare quashing the need to seek energy for continued fun in the sun elsewhere. Certainly not to be overlooked by the 21 and over crowd are the hand-crafted margaritas, signature cocktails, and impressive selection of premium tequilas.

Ignite Lobby Lounge welcomes the public and Guests to the Ritz Carlton, Dove Mountain with its fire-themed ambiance, unbelievable views, and a jaw-dropping array of liquid luxury ranging from soft drinks to Mixologist-designed cocktails. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings Ignite features live music and a full Sushi bar complete with Sake service.

If you spot the Roadrunner Food Truck on the resort grounds, be sure to flag it down. A sort of ice cream truck for all ages, the mini version of the hottest street food craze offers sweet treats, tacos, and a variety of other light fare. The Roadrunner's Tequila Butler also pours a pool-side tasting!

True Americana with a Twist

Catching a bite of true Americana will be everything but "same 'ole, same'ole" here in Marana. The Bisbee Breakfast Club is a kitschy-cool breakfast and lunch cafe on Marana's western border serving uniquely designed, seriously great comfort foods with down-home friendly service to make this a dining experience not to be missed. Have you ever dreamed of potato cakes and chicken fried steak? You will, after having them at Bisbee Breakfast Club. A long-time "morning after the party" tradition, the Crying Onion is one of those great, no-frills, comfortably satisfying American breakfast joints you can really sink your fork into. Cattleman's Cafe at the Marana Stockyards is a piece of living history (with dang good grub) in a big red barn. On site at the only active stockyard in Southern Arizona, the decor of this favored breakfast and lunch spot pays homage to the western tradition that feeds America - cattle ranching. At Cattleman's, plates like Cow Poke Special featuring grilled steak topped with green chili and jalapenos or the regulars' favorite hamburger steak never disappoint. Take bird-watching to a new level by enjoying some traditional cafe fare at the Sky Rider Coffee Shop at Marana Regional Airport. Revered among frequent fliers as the best airport restaurant in the Southwest, hand-pressed burgers and made-to-order omelets are served with bottomless cups of Joe all day long.

Marana Mia!

Several Marana eateries bring the flavors of the Old Country to our doorstep with award-winning and taste bud teasing Italian offerings. Vero Amore is the first certified Neapolitan pizzeria in Arizona, offering an amazing array of palate pleasing culinary delights. From their wood-fired bread starters to Neapolitan pies; Mussels Marinara to slow roasted Chicken Cacciatore, a passion for detail and dedication to authenticity are sure to please even the most discriminating tastes. A locally beloved family hang-out, Bianchi's Italian restaurant has been dishing out pizza, pasta, and sub sandwiches created from cherished family recipes for over 37 years. Specialty homemade pizza pies, Ziti a la Bianchi, and the Chicken Parm hot sub are the must-try dishes here. For a quick, delicious, and casual Italian bite, order ahead, take out, or drop in to R&R Pizza Express. This family-owned pizza joint serves up amazing traditional and specialty pies, oven roasted sandwiches, and salads in a no-frills, family friendly dining room complete with video games to occupy the kids and the young at heart.

Arriba, Arriba! Uno Mas Por Favor!

Being located less than 100 miles from the Mexico border allows Marana a plethora of benefits. One of our favorite perks has become recognized as our signature regional cuisine, Sonoran-style Mexican food. Nana's Kitchen Authentic Mexican Kitchen serves up northern Mexican dishes developed, perfected and served by Nana's family for their restaurant south of the border in Agua Prieta. Since 2007, Nana has served her authentic creations for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in Marana. Here you'll find the usual suspects like burritos and tostadas along with some savory surprises like crispy patty tacos and the Nana-banana chimi! La Olla Mexican Cafe always delivers on their promise to provide Sonoran classic delicacies with their signature twist and impeccable service. Guests will find themselves fantasizing about the deep fried tacos, chile relleno, or Nachos La Olla long after the taste of their freshly made salsa has been washed down with a house-specialty margarita. If you're up for a challenge, take on the El Grandote - the "biggest, baddest taco in all of Mexico" packed with seasoned beef, chipotle chicken, avocado, jalapenos, rice, beans and more! Good luck with that! Bucking tradition yet embracing and honoring Sonoran culinary influence, Lo Esencial (the basics) offers a mouthwatering, chic take on Mexican fare in a casually refined setting. Start the Lo Esencial adventure with some avocado fries, hold on to your sombrero while devouring the Buffalo Chicken taco, and round things out (if you've got room) with the Churros with chocolate sauce. Do not miss the killer calabacitas side dish!

Bottoms Up!

Drinking in the views and whetting your appetite for adventure is thirsty work. Fortunately there are a number of amazing watering holes in Marana to ensure our visitors stay hydrated, caffeinated, and maybe a little intoxicated with a variety of beverages. Teacher, entrepreneur, and coffee hobbyist Burc Maruflu opened the doors of the Marana's Savaya Coffee Market in 2009 to share his years of study and experience in blending, roasting, and brewing a super-refined cup of Joe to Marana locals and visitors. Maruflu searches the world for those beautiful little beans, roasts them right here in the region, and offers an uber-fun and comfortable social setting in which to enjoy the coffee they produce. If a less "stimulating" swig is what you're after, grab an insanely amazing Boba drink at either Marana location of Miss Saigon. With the option to select from four liquid bases and 24 flavors, it will take a while to sample every possible version of this texturally confounding, palate-pleasing drink. Raise a glass of 'hand-crafted bike fuel' at Marana's first microbrewery, Catalina Brewing Company. The 'nanobrewery' offers a variety of beers crafted from local ingredients with Arizona palates in mind. Situated just 200 yards from The Loop bike path, Catalina Brewing Company offers indoor bike parking discounts for riders' first beers! Cyclist or not, brews like the Mesquite Smoked Pecan Dopplebock, the La Rosa, and Scottish inspired Teachers Aid will have you calling for more! If you order your drinks with a side of sports action and entertainment, Home Plate Marana is the perfect spot. Here guests can enjoy a wide variety of soft drinks, regional brews, and professionally crafted bar foods. Catch just about every University of Arizona sporting event on the tube, sharpen billiards skills in the pool room, or channel your inner-Babe Ruth in the patio batting cages – all while drinking your (reasonable and prudent) fill of soft drinks, any of 46 available tap or bottled brews, or traditional and specialty cocktails.

Find the Far East in the West

Sushi in the desert? Sounds crazy, but the only crazy thing would be to not enjoy this tasty Japanese delicacy in Marana. Sushi Cortaro brings the artistry of Sushi to the Sonoran desert. Enjoy fresh, glistening Nigiri or any of a long list of traditional and specialty rolls in their casual dining area or at the bar. For those not into the oldest "raw food" movement on the planet, a nice menu of noodles and other cooked items is available. The region's most recognized name in Viatnamese food boasts two Marana locations and also promises some killer Thai dishes. Miss Saigon Bar & Grill serves phenomenal Pho (pronounced "fa") and to-die-for Pad Thai. Their plentiful and artfully prepared vegetarian options will have a carnivore rethinking life choices at the end of the meal! Under no circumstances should any diner leave Miss Saigon without indulging in a Boba drink. With so many options, it's almost a project to select exactly which to have, but those little balls of deliciousness and their accompanying pool of flavors will leave you ordering another to go. Worth another mention is the fact that Ignite Lobby Bar at the Ritz Carlton, Dove Mountain features live music and a full Sushi bar complete with Sake service every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening.

Whatever your mood, taste, or time constraints, Marana's growing menu of dining options ensures no visitor will leave hungry. The only ones who won't find food to love are those who don't love food. We'll keep the table set and lights on to serve up some memorable meals in Marana, the Gateway to Southern Arizona.
