Guided Hikes & Rides

Marana is home to an amazing trails system that is perfect for hikers, bikers, and those who like to take in the vistas with their equine companions.

Explore the spectacular Tortolita Mountains on a guided hike with Marana Parks and Rec’s knowledgeable and safety-conscious guides. Their guides will lead participants along well maintained trails while talking about the unique features and creatures of the Sonoran Desert. TURKEY TROT

Get ready for Thanksgiving at the Turkey Trot on November 11, 2024. This popular event is held in the Gladden Farms neighborhood.

EGG NOG JOG

Need to work off some of the Holiday calories? Then run, walk or jog into 2024 at the Annual Egg Nog Jog. Kickoff your fitness resolution at this popular event. You can already grab your place at the start line and even purchase the bundle which adds the Oro Valley Hot Cocoa 5K!

CHEERS CHALLENGE

Enter the Marana Egg Nog Jog & Oro Valley Hot Cocoa 5K!Oro Valley and Marana have partnered to create a ‘Run Through the New Year’ run challenge. Participants over the age of 13 who register and complete both races will receive an exclusive ‘Cheers Challenge’ medal on New Year’s Day day. Don’t miss out.
