Fall Festivals, Oktoberfest, and Other Fun Events in Marana!

Marana is the place to be in Southern Arizona for all things fall! From pumpkin patches, corn mazes, terrifying haunted attractions, and animal attractions, Marana’s heritage and culture as an agricultural community make it a perfect place to celebrate the harvest season.

Marana Pumpkin Patch & Farm Festival - October 1 - 30 (Thursdays-Sundays)

The Marana Pumpkin Patch & Farm Festival is located on a real family farm, full of farm sounds, sights, tastes, and the smell of growing corn and dried straw! Hunt for the perfect pumpkin and have hours of family fun on more than 50 acres of attractions, including a petting zoo, corn mazes, rides for the kids, and of course, the pumpkin patch! This year, the pumpkin patch is open Saturday, October 1 through Sunday, October 30. During the month of October, it’s open Thursdays and Fridays from 3 PM - 8 PM, Saturdays from 9 AM - 8 PM, and Sundays from 9 AM to 7 PM. Children 2 and under get in free!

As pumpkin time approaches, come out and experience the fun yourself. Pick a path and get lost in our two unique corn mazes! Sort through the pumpkin patch and find a one-of-a-kind pumpkin to take home! Work up an appetite jumping on our huge jumping pillows, and then fill up with great festive food like hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza, nachos and pretzels! Visit the petting zoo with ponies, miniature donkeys, goats and more! After a day of excitement, you’ll leave the festival happy and won’t want to miss the fun next weekend!

Terror in the Corn – September 30 – October 31 (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings, Sunday before Halloween, and Halloween Night)

Tucson's scariest attraction returns to Marana for 2022! Enjoy a variety of “haunts” and Halloween fun, all connected by a totally immersive and terrifying cornfield. When darkness falls and the moon comes out, so do the scares, screams and surrounding terror! The corn is calling…enter if you dare. You'll find the "Field of Screams" haunted cornfield with scary props and live actors, "Shady Acres" insane asylum, the “Circus of Horror” complete with killer clowns and interactive 3D effects, a zombie paintball shootout, a beer garden, food, a live DJ, and much more! Kids under 12 years old will not be admitted without an adult, and parental discretion is strongly advised

Terror in the Corn is located at 9312 W Rillito Village Trail, Marana, AZ 85653, just west of Tangerine Rd. & I-10. It’s open from 6PM-Midnight on Friday and Saturday evenings, and is open from 6PM-10PM on Thursdays, October 30th (Sunday), and Halloween Night (Monday).

Marana Fall Festival - October 15

Join the Town of Marana for an evening of fun for all ages at Marana Heritage River Park! Enjoy animals, live music, kids' activities, games, rodeo and harvest demonstrations, and the main event, a mutton-busting competition! Several local food trucks and vendors will also be on-site for your enjoyment!

Nightfall at Old Tucson - October 6 - 30

Nightfall is back for 2022! Old Tucson, now under new management, will be celebrating its grand reopening with the return of Nightfall, Southern Arizona’s only haunted town! Enjoy a frightful experience filled with comedy, drama, and mystery that embraces the history of Old Tucson. With new management comes an enhanced experience, providing an immersive, detailed mystery that encourages guests to interact with the characters, piece together clues, and solve the terrifying mystery of this small western town. Timed-entry bookings will be required, in order to provide a better experience for everyone.

City of Fun Carnival at Tucson Premium Outlets at Marana Center - October 14 - 23, Wednesdays - Sundays

The City of Fun Carnival returns to the Tucson Premium Outlets at Marana Center, with over 16 rides for thrill-seekers and kids alike, games, and food! The carnival is open October 14 - 23, Wednesdays - Fridays from 5 PM to 11 PM, and weekends from 1 PM to 11 PM! 

Concerts in the Courtyard – Every Third Thursday of the Month, September – May

Families enjoy live music from local musicians at Concerts in the Courtyard

Come enjoy a free concert on the Third Thursday night of the month in our beautiful courtyard at the Marana Municipal Complex! Four food trucks will be on-site for your dining options. All concerts are family-friendly and dogs are welcome if they are leashed. Limited seating is available; attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs and/or blankets.

Each month’s concert features a different band and theme! In October, there will be a Halloween Treat Trail for kids, featuring staff from the Town’s departments.

MHC Healthcare BalloonFest – November 12

Come by the MHC Healthcare campus for the 4th annual BalloonFest, open longer and with many more attractions this year! Enjoy a “fly-in” by Marana Skydive to open the event, live music from several local bands, bouncing castles and other inflatables for the kids, special exhibits and demonstrations from the Marana Police Department, Northwest Fire District, Arizona Department of Public Safety, and the Pima County Sherriff’s Department, a classic car show by the Tucson Street Rod Association, 30 food trucks offering your favorite food and beverages, and fireworks to end the night!

The main attraction is of course the balloons, with 10 hot air balloons performing an evening glow event, plus two hot air balloons you can catch a tethered ride in for a spectacular birds-eye view of Downtown Marana and the surrounding fields!

The festival runs from 3PM to 9PM on Saturday, November 12, with free parking and $10 admission per person. Veterans and active military with ID get in free!

Oktoberfest Events for 2022

Celebrate Oktoberfest in Marana at one of our breweries, taphouses, or gastropubs! Sample a craft beer made from ingredients harvested in Marana, while enjoying a bratwurst and friendship! Prost!

Catalina Brewing Company - September 17

Join Catalina Brewing Company and The Marana Brewery Club for an afternoon of food, fun, music, games, prizes, and of course, beer! The Marana Brewery Club is celebrating its 5th anniversary, and will be premiering the "Marana Brewery Club 5 Year Anniversary Oktoberfest" beer at the event! 

Oktoberfirst at Catalina Brewing Company - October 1

The Oktoberfest celebrations continue at Catalina Brewing Company with Oktoberfirst! Live music performances from South40, as well as Hunter James, an 8-year-old drummer all the way from the Netherlands, will headline the show! A stand-up comedy performance from Gordon Mead will kick off the event. Plus, you can enjoy home-made pretzels with beer mustard, and $5 brats from The Jersey Grill all event long!

Button Brew House Annual Oktoberfest - October 8

The biggest one-day Oktoberfest in Marana returns on October 8th, from Noon-5PM!  Enjoy live music all afternoon, food from the Haus of Brats food truck, a Stein-holding contest, a costume contest, and of course, excellent local craft beer from over 15 breweries! The $39 admission includes a half-liter glass Stein, plus three half-liter beer fills! Each additional pour is $6 for outdoor pours, and $1 off for indoor pours.

Oktoberfest Finale at Catalina Brewing Company - October 9

Say “prost” to the Oktoberfest season with one more celebration at Catalina Brewing Company! Enjoy beer, brats, stein-holding and log-sawing competitions, face painting, and German trivia! The event runs from 4 PM - 7 PM.
