Join us as we spend an evening on the farm in Marana!
As autumn arrives, leaves turn red, gold and brown in other parts of the country, but here in Arizona, we’re just getting started with the best weather months of the year. October through April, and even into May, our community offers blue skies, wide open spaces and outdoor events.
What Is the Fall Festival?
For generations, Marana farmers have cultivated crops like cotton, wheat, barley, and alfalfa. This annual Signature Event, organized by the Town of Marana Parks and Recreation Department, is a great way to celebrate the past and current farmers.
In October, we celebrate our agricultural and western heritage at Marana’s Fall Festival, held at Heritage River Park, located in the heart of the Gladden Farms community in Northwest Marana.

How do I get to the event?
To get to the event, turn south at the intersection of Lon Adams Drive and Tangerine Farms and you'll enter Gladden Farms Community Park. From there, follow the signs and volunteer instructions to the parking lot outside the Fall Festival.
Consider skipping the parking hassle by taking a rideshare. There will be a designated drop-off zone for those who take this alternative, which will remove the stress of parking.
What is parking like?
There will be parking available on-site, with additional overflow parking available at Gladden Farms Elementary.
Is this event pet-friendly?
Yes! Bring Fido but be sure he stays on a leash!
Is this event accessible?
There will be handicap parking available on a first come first serve basis. Additionally, there will be accessible bathrooms on-site. However, the rest of the event will take place on uneven surfaces on the grassy fields of the park.
What are some tips for attending?
Before the event, be sure to pack your bag with:
- Refillable water bottle
- Sunscreen
- An umbrella
Also, wear a hat and comfortable shoes, as the event involves a lot of walking outdoors.
