Whether you're new to the desert or you've lived here your whole life, this hike is guaranteed to be informative! Spend a morning outside hiking through the Tortolita Mountains with a knowledgeable and experienced guide and learn about the wonders of the Sonoran Desert. Learn about saguaros and other species of cacti, drought-adapted plants, the monsoon season, and lack of freezing temperatures that lead to an abundance of biodiversity in the region.
Trails range from 3-4 miles with minimal elevation gain. Plan for 2 hours.
