A food truck with a fierce local following, located on Sandario Road right off the I-10 freeway in the First Baptist church courtyard across the street from Family Dollar Store. Note: the address shown in Yelp is out of date, and Taqueria Plaza's is currently (as of 11/19) just a few blocks down the street from its old address.
Taqueria Plaza's has a classic menu featuring tacos ($1.75 each) with your choice of meats, burros, tortas, chimichangas, and some house specialties. The ingredients are really fresh, the portions are really generous, and the flavors are purely Sonoran (such as the unique differences between the pulpy green chile salsa and the sharp spice of the red chile salsa). The pico de gallo shows attention to detail, with finely diced ingredients that allow the flavors to marry. What more could you need in a food truck? Breakfast burritos and Sonoran hot dogs. You can start your day there at 8;00 a.m. Tables in the shade make it a pleasant place to stop on the way in or out of town.Visit Website Add To Itinerary
