A free outdoor movie series at Marana’s parks!

Movies In Marana is a popular program from the past making its highly-anticipated return in 2023. Proudly presented by Marana Parks & Recreation, the movie nights will run from 6-9PM* and move around our parks. The movies themselves will start at SUNDOWN. They even will feature different locations in our parks like at the Marana Pool and Marana Splash Pads.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs, picnic blankets, or other seating. Food vendors are scheduled for each individual movie. 

Please note that the June and July movies will start at 6:30, due to sundown being later.

2023 Movie Schedule and Locations

April 22 (Camping Under the Stars): A Bug's Life - Ora Mae Harn District Park

May 20: Luca - Splash Pad area at Crossroads at Silverbell District Park

June 17: Zootopia - Soccer Fields at Gladden Farms Community Park

July 15 (Dive-In Movie): Surf's Up - Marana Pool at Ora Mae Harn Park

August 19: Big Miracle - Heritage River Park Splash Pad

September 2 (Movie at Pool Party to Dive For): The Little Mermaid - Marana Pool at Ora Mae Harn Park

September 16: Space Jam 2: A New Legacy - Field 2 at Crossroads at Silverbell District Park

October 21 (Movie at Marana Fall Festival): Coco - located in the Family Fun Fiesta Zone at the Marana Fall Festival.
