Tacos Apson Marana
Tacos Apson is a family-owned restaurant that specializes in Sonoran-style tacos and hotdogs. With a location on Thornydale Road in Marana and the original spot on 12th Ave in Tucson. The Thornydale location was recently featured in Bon Appetit!

The name of the restaurant is partly inspired by the owner’s father’s band Los Apson, which was a popular rock and roll group in Mexico in the 1960s. The band was known for songs like ‘No Hay Amor’ and ‘Fue en un Café’. The inside of the restaurant shows pictures of his dad’s band. The name also reflects the owner’s hometown of Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico.
