Sanctuary Cove
Sanctuary Cove is a desert preserve and event space surrounded by the spectacular beauty of the Tucson Mountains. It is stewarded by a nonprofit organization and open to the public for hiking 365 days a year from sunrise to sunset.
The property features an All Creeds Chapel that was built in 1964, a labyrinth, grounds to wander and a guest cottage that can be rented.
Sanctuary Cove is a wonderful place for a small to medium size wedding event (generally under 75 people), but there are some restrictions to ensure the safety and preservation of the natural environment.
The area is also a popular place for family photos but be sure to pay the fee and get a permit first.
Above all else, be sure to follow all the rules at Sanctuary Cove to help maintain this peaceful and free space. Dogs, drones, mountain biking and off-trail hiking are not allowed.
