Marana has a growing live music scene, with a number of well-known and well-loved independent bands and tribute bands, particularly in the rock and country genres. Whether it's at one of the events or festivals around town, or at a local bar or restaurant (or a festival at a restaurant), there are many opportunities to jam out with your favorite local artists.
Desert Bluegrass Festival - March 10-12
Three days of some of the best Bluegrass and Acoustic musicians and bands in the region, along with some of the most passionate fans! In addition to the amazing music, enjoy workshops, a band scramble, kids' activities, crafts, and food from local food trucks in a family-friendly atmosphere in Marana!
March Hoppiness at Button Brew House - March 11
Enjoy a fun afternoon full of live music, great food, great times with friends, and of course, great craft beer! Over a dozen brewers, distillers, wineries, and cideries will be on-site, giving you the opportunity to go on a "grand tour" of Arizona beverages, all while staying at Button Brew House!
Concerts in the Courtyard - March 16 and April 20 (Third Thursday of each month)
Come enjoy a free concert on the Third Thursday night of the month in our beautiful courtyard at the Marana Municipal Complex! Four food trucks will be on-site for your dining options. Each concert features a different band, theme, and community engagement activity! March will feature Xplosion, a Sonoran-style country band with a twist, and April will feature the George Howard Band, who play a variety of dance party favorites.
Marana Founder's Day Parade and Festivities - March 18
Celebrate Marana's 46th Birthday with a parade and a full day of festivities in Downtown Marana! From 11:30 AM to 2 PM, rock out with the local-favorite Jesse Colt Band, with the sounds and energy of your favorite country hits, with some Sonoran-style and rock influences!
Par-Tee Music Festival - April 15
Spend an afternoon rocking out with a collection of tribute bands to some of the rock's greatest legends on the driving range at The Highlands at Dove Mountain! The lineup includes tributes to The Eagles (One Of These Nights), Led Zeppelin (Led Zepplified), and Lynyrd Skynyrd (Mr. Skynyrd).
Also, be sure to check out Catalina Brewing Company, Button Brew House, and The Station Pub and Grill, which feature live music from a variety of local bands on most weekends!
