March (and April) Live Music Mania in Marana!

Marana has a growing live music scene, with several well-known and well-loved independent bands and tribute bands, particularly in the rock and country genres. Whether it’s at one of the events or festivals around town, or at a local bar or restaurant, there are many chances in the springtime for you to hear some great local artists!

Desert Bluegrass Festival – March 13-15, 2026

Three days of some of the best Bluegrass and Acoustic musicians and bands in the region, and some of the most passionate fans! Alongside the music, enjoy workshops, a band scramble, kids’ activities, crafts, and food from local food trucks, all in a family-friendly atmosphere at Gladden Farms Community Park. Admission on Friday is free! Camping is also available throughout the festival weekend.

Concerts in the Courtyard

Come enjoy a free concert on the third Thursday night of each month from 5 PM - 7 PM in the beautiful courtyard of the Ed Honea Marana Municipal Complex in Downtown Marana (11555 W. Civic Center Dr. Marana, AZ 85653)! Food trucks will be on-site for some local dining options. Each concert features a different local band and a theme.

March 19th

Band: TuneSmith, performing a variety of Motown, R&B, Latin, and Jazz music that's sure to get you moving and grooving!

Theme: Marana #DogLife Night! Bring your furry friend with you to enjoy the great music and meet some local organizations that support the dog community in Marana!

Food Trucks: Haus of Brats and Al Gusto Coffee Company (a Taste of Marana STANDOUT Award-Winner)


April 16th

Band: Little House of Funk, one of the Tucson area's favorite local bands, playing variety hits and crowd-pleasers, featuring Connie, "the Rockin' Granny" on lead vocals!

Theme: Health & Wellness Night

Food Trucks: Ark Burger Co. and Al Gusto Coffee Company

Concerts in the Courtyard takes place the Third Thursday of each month, except January, June, July, and August.

Marana Founders’ Day Parade & Festivities – March 21, 2026

Celebrate Marana’s 49th Birthday with a parade and a full day of festivities in Downtown Marana! From 11:30 AM to 3 PM, enjoy live music and performances by several local dance troupes, showing off traditional folk dances and music from around the world.

Also celebrate with Marana history & heritage exhibits, over 25 local artisan vendors and exhibitors, over a dozen local food trucks, kids' activities, and much more!

Where: Civic Center Dr. & Marana Main St. in Downtown Marana

When: Parade starts at 10 AM, event runs to 3 PM. Music & dance performances are from 11:30 AM - 3 PM.

Par-Tee Music Festival – April 10, 2026

Spend an afternoon rocking out with a collection of tribute bands to some of music’s greatest legends on the driving range at The Highlands at Dove Mountain! The lineup includes tributes to some of rock and country’s greats, including Journey (Voyager), The Eagles (One Of These Nights), and Rock & Roll Revival, covering all of your favorite classic rock hits. Only 480 tickets are available, so make sure to get yours before they sell out!

Where: The Highlands at Dove Mountain, 4949 W. Heritage Club Blvd. Marana, AZ 85658. This event is open to the public.

Ryan Wissmann is the Economic Development Specialist for the Town of Marana, and is passionate about the growth, development, and quality-of-life in Marana, which of course includes tourism. He is from Kansas City, Missouri, and moved to Arizona in 2021 after completing his Master’s Degree in Economic Development. He enjoys hiking the many trails in and around Marana and Southern Arizona, and can often be found outdoors during spring, fall, and winter weekends when the weather is the most pleasant for hiking.
