Take a step back in time and experience the holidays the Old West Way, with an immersive experience at Old Tucson!

Location: Old Tucson
Time: 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM
201 Kinney Rd
Tucson, Arizona

Yuletide is a new, immersive, family-friendly experience that combines the Old West feel that you've come to know and love from Old Tucson, with the magic of some of the best Christmas festivals across Europe and the United States. Each actor has a story to tell, and guests help restore the spirit of Christmas to Old Tucson!

The Plot:

1882, Old Tucson: Electricity is the new wave of the future. On the East Coast, gas lights are being replaced at a rapid rate for the supposedly safer electric lamp. The ability to light the night and buildings is being called a revolution!

In Tucson, however, electricity is still an experiment. Royal A. Johnson has put together a new company that he hopes will power the town. Johnson made his name as a supposed land grant fraud while he was Surveyor-General to the United States. Now, he hopes to add the creation of the first electrical company in Tucson to his credits. His proof will be a ceremony during the holidays where the tree in town square will be lit for the first time as the prelude to lighting the entire town with electricity.

Experiences and Shows

The park will be full of holiday-themed immersive attractions, shows, and dining options! Visit Santa at Christmas Cove, see a traditional Mexican-Style Christmas display at La Capilla, take a hayride on a horse-drawn carriage through the Chapparal and past the Mayor's House, see what Krampus is up to in the Iron Mine, take a train ride through town and out into the desert, take a ride on the Holiday Carousel, and write a letter to Santa at City Hall!

Don't miss out on A Yuletide Carol, the park's own take on A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, Lights Out!, where the robbers are trying to cut the power to the town, and the main event, the Electric Tree Lighting, at 6:15 every night! Watch the town be lit up!

In order to provide a better experience for all guests, timed-entry bookings are required. Tickets can be booked at the attraction website, linked below. Timed entries begin at 4:00 PM each night, and continue until 10:00 PM. Guests are welcome to explore the various shows, experiences, attractions, and dining options until closing at 10:00 PM.
