Tucson Audubon Birdathon
Birdathon is like a walkathon, but instead of counting miles, you count bird species!
Gather a team of friends and family and go birding anytime throughout the month of April, all to help raise funds to support the work of Tucson Audubon Society - protecting Southern Arizona's birds, restoring habitats, and making sure this intriguing part of our region's nature can be enjoyed for many generations to come.
How To Participate
- Decide how to participate - it can be a single day, the entire month, on a trip, it's up to you!
- Create a fundraising page (on the event website) for your team. There's no limit on the number of people who can be on a team.
- Share with friends and family to promote your team
- Go birding anytime in April and track which species you see
- Report the number of species to the Tucson Audubon Society
- Gather donations either as a flat amount or per species seen
- Attend the wrap-up party on May 15th!
