Dirt. Sweat. Victory. Join the #RunMarana Dirt Dash in the Tortolita Mountains on December 13th for a desert running challenge like no other! Whether you choose the half-marathon or 6-mile trail run, it's time to embrace the rugged beauty of Marana's trails!
Half Marathon | Dash through the scenic views of the Tortolita Mountain Trails in this half-marathon (13.1 mile) trail race. The first section of the half-marathon starts with a relatively flat 2-mile run on the Wild Burro Trail (a mix of wash and single track trail). The next section is the scenic, approximately 9-mile single track trail with a moderate elevation climb and descent. Lastly, the half-marathon finishes with the 2-mile return trip through the Wild Burro Wash. Total elevation gain is 1,673 ft.
6-Mile Run | Test your speed through the Wild Burro Wash in the 6-mile trail dash. The first section starts with a relatively flat 2-mile run on the Wild Burro Trail (a mix of wash and single track trail). The next section is the climb, an approximately 2-mile single track trail with a moderate elevation climb and descent. Lastly, the dash finishes with the 2-mile return trip through the Wild Burro Wash. Total elevation gain is 912 ft.
