Outdoor Nature Play - Session 2 Tuesdays

The outdoor nature play program is designed to foster a connection with the natural world. Through guided exploration and sensory activities, children are encouraged to engage with the environment around them.
Week 1 - Gila Woodpecker - We will use tools to peck our way into various materials and the winter world around us.

Week 2 - Cactus Wren - We will make stone soup with natural treasures around us.

Week 3 - Sonoran Spotted Whiptail Lizard - We will explore how materials around us can make music.
Book to share: “What to do with a Stick” by Jane Yolen
Week 4 - Javelina - We will use our noses to discover nature around us.
Book to share: “The Three Little Tamales” by Eric A. Kimmel
Designed for children aged 1 to 12. Must be accompanied by an adult.
