Marana Regional Airport

Marana has its own regional airport that makes getting here for your next vacation convenient and comfortable.

Constructed in 1943, and purchased decades later by Marana from Pima County in 1999, the Marana Regional Airport, also known as the Avra Valley Airport, is a relief airport for general aviation flights through Tucson International. In this capacity, Marana Regional Airport is a vital part of the community that connects Marana to the rest of Arizona and from there to the world beyond.

The airport services travelers and tourists landing in Marana from all points of the country, but there is also a flight school catering to those fliers who wish to learn how to take off out of Marana Regional Airport on their own.
