The outdoor nature play program is designed to foster a connection with the natural world. Through guided exploration and sensory activities, children are encouraged to engage with the environment around them.Week 1 - American Black Bear - We will follow clues to go on a “hike” around the park as we search for the “bear”.

Week 2 - Palo Verde Beetle - We will celebrate Earth Day!
Book to share: “Earth! My First 4.54 Billion Years” by Stacy McAnulty
Week 3 - Figeater Beetle - We will look for bright colors that would attract beetles and gather colors to mix into playdough.
Book to share: “Steve the Dung Beetle on a Roll” by Susan R. Stoltz
Week 4 - June Beetle - We will make wildflower seed bombs.
Book to share: “Jitterbug” by Kai Lüftner
Designed for children aged 1 to 12. Must be accompanied by an adult.
